The Update !

Unfortunalty I havent been all that well I have had a chest infection so I have been in bed mostly to be honest. Pregnancy and illness dont mix. I have had some lovely baby things from my friends its so exciting! I have put the moses Basket up I want to put some protection and maybe a little sleep charm onto the basket to help baby. It is hard to belive that it is the summer solstice soon, I will be hopefully visiting my mum and I will be able to take advantage of her lovely herb garden that I planted for her. I hope that we have a little sun on that day. The only sad thing is that I will not be able to celebrate it with my other half as he has to stay at home so I will make a separate celebration with him later on.

I feel that I have a special relationship with the goddess story this year because I am pregnant too though my Baby is due at the end of August , and it has really encouraged my to work on my home and how it feels etc so I have been doing lots of house cleansing and house protection. The book that I am reading at the moment Faery magick has some lovely ideas that I can use to help my work with herbs which I have really become interested in recently. I have tried to be out and about looking for wild herbs and flowers but I am afraid the rain has been pouring down and flooding out many places! I will keep on researching the plants herbs flowers and trees so that I can learn to identify them when I am out walking and find local specimines to photograph and study. I will keep a little note book handy with me and a really good reference book too.!

I havent made much progress on anything really if I am honest though I must admit tha the stone that I powered up to help me in my previous blog are working wonderfully particually the moonstone which is now under my pillow. I will this week do some intence moon research and write out a chart to help me when I do come to working more closely with my plants so that I can use the moon in my gardening as suggested often.

I hope that everyone is well and many summer blessings to all.
