My silence Day

For the first time....

I took part in Willow Creek Studios : Silence Project and I must admit that it took a while to get used to but I just about stuck to it. (even though my partner was insistent on the TV being on) I listened to damh the bard.I also spent most of the day in a different room.

I made time for meditation and thinking when I got up and got ready for the day carefully chosing everything I was wearing and it helped get ready for the day. I went to the shop and brought special things to eat and on the way to the shop we found a little birds nest in the road that had blowen out of the trees. We took it out of the road and put it at the bottem of the tree. I felt bad for the little birds that had made it and there was nothing inside or round about so maybe they will have made another nest?! It was so beautiful and teeny made of twigs moss and feathers. We took a photo of it. It seemed to be held together by nothing at all.

I made breakfast and had time to do a spot of house cleaning and blessing while I was at it. I only did very light work and made my partner do the heavy stuff its what being pregnant is about. I sorted out my shrines and altars in the house though I do this regulaly but I took extra time and effort and it was quite pleasing. I couldnt go for a walk as I have a bad chest infection and it spent most of the day raining. I spent time watching the thunder storm, and it was very exciting I love doing that anyway.

I made a bunny statue for my altar out of air drying clay and it looks good and it is so much fun! The rabbit is a journey companion that is helping me with my pregnancy, along with the swan.

I also read some more of my books for my reading challenges and sorted out those that I wanted to read. For the Witchy read - a- thon on the 24th June. I will blog that later on so I can keep the post as an update on what I am reading. I have more books than I thought I had.

I did meditation on Tarot card the Star! and on my pregnancy I must admit that I have never written so much in my diary  in my life !

from the guilded tarot
This was really a day where I took care of all the things that I had been meaning to do and never quite managed. I know though that by the time I had my special cleansing shower and lathered myself up in cocoa Butter ready for bed with a hot drink and a record of the day.
